Leprecauhn Day 2011

Because I turned last year's St Patty's day into a large celebration, I'm afraid Colby expects it every year.   So, we started the morning with of course green eggs and milk (no ham this year).  Although he was sick, he did his best to eat the unappetizing looking of a meal.
I left a little leprechaun gold in Colby's car, in hopes there was no way he could miss it this time around.

Unfortunately, he didn't find it till about 2 days later due to being sick and home bound, guess I can try again next year.

We saved the big dinner for the weekend and had a little larger crowd this year.  Colby's cousins Kyle and Sheena, and a friend of mine from school Lauren and Bryce joined us.

We had the same traditional corned beef and cabbage, with the same green sides and Irish drink, and added a green salad, and yummy green mint brownies this year compliments Lauren and Bryce.

Even though Colby can't tell you what day St Patrick's is (he had to name about everyday of the month before he finally guessed the 17th), he did tell me he thinks St. Patrick's day is now one of his favorite holidays :).  Glad I could be of assistance.
