This One's for Real

I'm done for good this time! Wa-hoo!  I had thought about going on, but I think I've had enough of this full time job, full time school thing for now, and probably forever.
Somehow I got talked into walking... let's just say I remember why I hate graduations.  In fact my niece said, "Next time Gina inbites us to her grad-gee-ation.... Call me a babysitter!"  I'm with you 100% Kenny.

Thanks to everyone that helped me through.  It sure does feel good to be done; although, I've never known life without school, that is one weird thought.

Wind Blown

Dec 1st I text Colby "You forget where I grew up." See where I'm from wind storms are a common occurrence.  Cancelling church because of high winds, or inside recess because of the "wind-chill factor" is nothing out of the ordinary.
But this... this was a little more than I bargained for.
Garages blown in, all fences blown down,
Shingles ripped off and garbage blown all over,
Flags ripped in half,
Siding ripped off,
And trees,
 trees,
and more trees ripped out and toppled over.
As you can see it was a pretty big mess.  So we participated in the neighborhood cleanup.
And though you can't tell there were hundreds of cars lined up to the dump for hours.  It moved surprisingly fast though.
We were just grateful we had no real damage.  Ours was the "house that stood." And we're not complaining.
