New Blog
I finally created a private blog and got it up to date through June.
Before I update any more, my next task is to get everyone's emails in so you can have access to it, please just be patient with me, it's been a long process, and let's be honest, it hasn't been number one on my list, I now have a little something that takes most of my time these days:). I will keep putting the titles of the posts of that blog, onto this blog so you can see when it is updated.

Going Private
Alright, I've finally made the decision. I have been debating, thus the reason for no photos or updates on the baby, but after reading a little post about making family blogs private, I decided it was for the best. I also have noticed that some spam site has referrals to my blog which makes me uncomfortable.
So feel free to leave your email in the comment box or you can email me or message me on facebook. Thanks, and as long as one of us knows you somehow, you don't need to feel embarrassed to leave your email. I hate when people go private that I have been reading, but I don't feel I know them well enough to let them know I've been reading:), so go ahead and let me know you want to be added. It may take me a couple of weeks, but soon this will no longer be accessible to the public.

Nursery Reveal
After months of giving Colby projects to do, we finally finished the nursery, and not a moment too soon, 2 days before our little baby made his big debut.
My inspiration came from this nursery I saw on pinterest.
My inspiration came from this nursery I saw on pinterest.
Gray and yellow with elephants. Nice and neutral so if we were ever to have a girl in the future I wouldn't have to redo it.
Here is how it turned out.
Now, I must give credit where credit is due.
Striped wall and nice KSL find on the crib, compliments of Colby.
I got the tutorial for the crib skirt from here.
This wall had a few points of inspiration.
The little changing table was thanks to Colby's sister and brother in law. Colby spent a lot of time painting it white to make it match the rest of the room.
I got the idea for the LOVE sign from this pic off pinterest
And this tutorial gave me an idea of how to put it together.
Then I found a cute sign I liked on etsy, however it was $15 and I wasn't willing to pay it.
So I conjured one up in PowerPoint.
Then there's the roller shade, got the tutorial from here.
The drapes or "window pants" as they call them came from this tutorial. They were easy, but quite time consuming.
And lastly this little book shelf, made by Colby, tutorial from here.
Though there are several things that weren't quite as I had planned, overall I am happy with the turnout. It was a lot of work, I'm glad I don't ever have to do it again!
Closing the blinds after a long days work, and one last prego pic!
All ready for baby, we can finally relax and wait now.

Growing
From my first maternity picture at 29 weeks, I just keep on getting bigger and bigger, I feel like my belly button is going to explode!
29 weeks
35 weeks
38 weeks
I look like a watermelon is hanging off my belly, yikes!
Tomorrow will be 39 weeks, only one more till my due date! Can't believe how fast it's come upon us. I can't complain too much in this last trimester, just really tired. But I know that it won't get any better in the months to come. I can't believe we will be parents any day now! Poor boy is in for a real treat:).

We Will Miss You Sherm!
Colby's Grandpa passed away a week ago today. Sherm was special to Colby and he will be missed very much. They had a nice funeral in his honor on Wednesday.
We were glad Colby's brother got to come into town
I have never seen a Veteran funeral, so it was neat to see the 20 gun salute and all the other traditions that go along with it.
They also had bagpipes and a Thunderbird in Sherm's honor. It was quite the event.

Shower the People You Love with Love
I feel so lucky to have all the help we have had to bring this little guy into the world. I had several more showers and they were all so nice.
After my first shower we had my friend shower. These girls are girls that I have known and have been friends with forever, some even before preschool. Whitney and Erika threw a fun shower with a theme to go along with our nursery.
I don't know how I feel about this, but they played a game where they guessed the size of my belly. Apparently I am the size of a pregnant whale:). Thanks Whit!
This isn't all of us, but between us we have
1 wedding and 4 babies on the way all between June and October!
Metamorphasis: 14 wks, 17 wks, 25 wks, 31 wks
I then had a shower at work. Everyone was so nice, although I didn't get any pictures they also had the gray, yellow and elephants theme.
My next shower was thrown by these gals with the help of my mom. "Ready to POP" was the theme, and there was lots of yummy food and cute blue and green decor.
My grandpa even contributed to the shower. He started a tradition of making cradles for each grandchild, patterned from a smaller version he made me for Christmas 22+ years ago. I love it and am excited to rock my own "real baby" in it:).
My last shower was thrown by all my cute Young Women. Although I again didn't get any pictures, each class made a present and it was so thoughtful.
Thanks to everyone who supported me, I have the best family and friends! After our last shower I am feeling much more ready to have this baby, at least we have all the things we need!

Colby Turns 27
Colby's Birthday was kind of uneventful because it was over shadowed by a St George trip that night, but we had Birthday breakfast and presents.
Poor birthday boy had to spend 2 weeks on the couch,
as the pregnant woman couldn't get over an awful cold.
We had french toast bake for breakfast
Happy Birthday Colb's, love you so much!

Easter Weekend
I was a little sad Easter was so early this year. It seems when it's in March it comes upon us way too fast.
I had my first shower with Colby's family since our Sister-in-law was in town. His sisters and mom threw me a nautical themed shower and it was so nice.
Thanks to all those who came out to support me, I feel so lucky to be apart of the family.
We spent Easter with both sides, and even made time for a quick, unsuccessful photo shoot in our Easter's best.
