Twilight BBQ

We were sad to say goodbye to Lexy and Dan, but it was a good excuse to get most of us girls and our husbands together.
Colby and I had bought these lights after going to a restaurant and deciding cafe lights would be cool on our deck.  After we bought them we realized how white trash we would look.  So they sat in their boxes all summer, but this was the perfect reason to get them out for a little use.
After dinner we had a little Twilight concert from both Nate and Colby
Then for the featured presentation, "A League of Their Own."
Good luck in Ohio Lexy and Dan!

Montana Reunion

This is how I remember Montana
Auntie Dort and Uncle Vern's house.  With the creek running right through their property, a huge garden, hoping to get to sleep in the porch room, hours of card games, exploring their old house, and...
of course french braids, big bangs, homemade hammer pants and salt water sandals:).
Every other year there is a Sizer family reunion.  I have not been to a reunion in 8 years and I thought it would be fun to bring Colby along so he could see what they're all about.

Before heading out to the reunion we got to stop in and see sweet Auntie Dort.  She is one amazing lady and we missed her at the reunion.
3 of the 4 Sizer sisters together
At the reunion we played latter ball, botchy, and my new favorite bad mitten.  Hiked, played cards, and got caught up with everyone.
Michael Earl took us for a ride
to this really pretty outlook.
We even stopped for a quick firewood pickup.

We saw a baby moose,
and a big moose, making 3 in all for the whole trip
One last night to roast some mallows
Apparently I'm not too good at it:).
Grandma and Auntie Marge
Montana is not exactly the same as it was when I was younger, but it is still a place I look forward to going to with lots of fun memories.  I hope I will not let 8 years go by without seeing all these great people again.
